Invitation to the seminar at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development

The National Poultry Council – Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to participate in the seminar.

The meeting is aimed at EU poultry meat producers and exporters to China and Hong Kong markets. Its purpose is to present the market, legal and veterinary situation in Hong Kong in terms of the potential for increased sales of EU poultry thanks to Hong Kong’s entry into the Greater Bay Area – a new integrated economic zone covering nine major cities and two regions in southern China.

Dr. Gloria Lai Fan Tam – the expert and advisor on food imports in China and Hong Kong, former Hong Kong Government Plenipotentiary for Food Safety and Deputy, consultant to the General Chamber of Commerce of Mainland China and the China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association – will attend the seminar on behalf of the Hong Kong partners. In addition, among the speakers there will be representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Chief Veterinary Inspectorate, the National Agriculture Support Center, the Polish Embassy in Beijing, and Ms. Anna Dowgiałło representing the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) in Poland.

The seminar will take place on Thursday, May 25, 2023, between 10.30 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, 30 Wspólna St.
